i plan on check cap wires and plugs tommorow morning just curious if that would prevent car from starting tho

Is it a SOHC motor? If so you could be okay. From what I'm told (please dont quote me on this) that SOHC motors are non-interference motors. If the timing belt were to break or come loose, the piston shouldn't slap the valves. Do a compression check to see if the valves are okay.

comp was good in both cylinders anyone know where i can get a timing belt done for less then 500 dollars?
