what kind of motor are you looking into? b series or just a d series to get your car running? if its just a d series talk to chahonda, he will get the motor and all that and install for a very fair price. hell if you need it he'll install any b series in there for you also.

roughly 40 for the bearing i would say. it's about a 2 hour job if you have the right tools....
cost me 40 bux for my front bearing, took me like 3 hours to do mine...only cuz i couldnt get the damn bearing to sit in the hub right on the press. what a pain in the ass, took like an hour and a half to get it in just right.

get a d16y8 or a d16y7. they are cheap and can get you into the low ET ranges. i.e. 12s and 13s. they have the potential to be a 10 second car just like any b series, just dont see many people do so.
