It's not that it takes that much work, but everything is epensive, and alot of stock parts wont work, so you have to but from Hasport etc. And unless you are lucky, there is the $1,000 dollar engine management you need, just to start the car.
If you did it all yourself, with the cheapest parts avail. I'm thinking it would cost you about 7k for an a2 swap.
