Motor mounts?

Default Motor mounts?

i have an rsx and i broke a motor mount bolt. What is a good place to take it to, to get it fixed. besides acura. its to expensive and well to much work to put the car back to stock.

take it back to acura, you dont have any aftermarket parts that would void your warranty on your motor mounts.

i ordered the bolt and i am doing it myself. Also ordered the ES motor mount inserts to try to correct the problem from happening again.

dont you have 2 other bolts holding the mounts to the engine?

i have 4 motor mounts. but the one on the passanger side has 2 bolts attached to it. one bolt broke on that side. it the one attached to the block it's self.

its not the one to the engine that broke. its one of the studs that comes up out of the braket attached to the block. the studs are then screwed down to another broket that attaches it to the frame of the car at the top of the engine bay

Have you tried York Bolt?

ok, cause i was about to say one bolt wont matter unless youve got mad vibration, but the bolt to the block should be fixed.

the bolt to the block is fine. It is the stud that is attached to the mount which is bolted to the block. And aslo the bolt will be here friday. which sucks i had a mustang try to race me on my home from work and i couldnt because of the mount. grrrrrr
