Default MAP sensor question

im about to boost my b20b integra and im only running 8psi and i need to know if i need to switch my MAP out. If so which one should i get 2 bar, 3bar?

You'll be fine with the stock MAP until approx. 12 psi.

You will need some kind of engine management when you want to switch to a bigger map sensor.

thanks i planned on using s200 w/ boost option anyway im just trying to find a way to boost my car as reliable as i can without spending thousands of dollars

stock map up to 12psi, boosting is not cheap. If I had to do it all over again id stick with 7psi with stock p72 (if vtec) on stock injectors with an fmu and an upgraded 255 fuel pump. Great daily I had no problems untill i took the fmu off and hit higher boost and tuning. Dont boost any higher with out changing compression, pistons, rods, injectors etc... Trust me! Thats the cheap safe route.

ummmm... FMU is not a safe route...... tuning is the key on any boost level.....
