yeah ive kinda had the same question, i know lsd is great but how much does it affect your top end? and how well is the phantom grip for hondas?

 

phantom grip worked great on my boys turbo si, but lsd is better....

 

take that 300 bux and put it towards buying a nice aftermarket quaife LSD...instead of going w/ the stocker LSD....

 

care to explain and don't say some shit like it has no power.

300 for a LSD is cheap. Get it.

 

Well see, there is this thing called torque.. how much do you have in at 7 grand?? with out BOOSTING!... cause if you have turbos.. you dont boost in nuetral or with the clutch in with out a 2 step... and PLUS your car is light as hell... remember FASTIVA with a 1000 lb festiva.. and a open front end.. but he could launch at the rev limiter and spin for about one second then be done and have grip with his 155/r12's... now put a lsd in a BB chevelle with 2 tons of car to move from zero miles an hour and see how easy it is to spin a tire...


As I said, the lsd will help.. but dont think it will give you the capabilities of AWD

my car has a decent amount of torque in that rpm range but if you would ask I have a little work done to the rear end with racing beat produts. beside lsd vary in production and performance so how could you truely know what each is capable of. As for the festiva, my old 89 geo spectrum would do a damn good burn out. those 2 cars are almost the same. It was good reasoning though.
