ls/vtec turbo or gsr turbo?
waas just wondering im thingking of sleeving one or the other and was just wondering if i got lsvtec would b18a or b18 block be any different? also the ls vtec build up im watching uses the ls crank which is better? i want to be able to still rev and on head chioce i want full port job so does the b16 or b18 make much difference? im trying to make 450-500 hp on 110 just some suggestions before i scout for parts

i got a fully built poor mans R b16 head with GSR block... zero miles everything is still in the packages you can have the block sleeved if you want /..pm me for details... head is already port matched wiseco pistons H beam rods (eagle.) manly dual valve springs and titanium retainers..more
B18A/B & B18C1 are very different from each other. GSR came with a bunch of nice goodies such as better rod ratio, 9mm rod bolts stock, use of engine girdle, cylinder oil jets, better blance crank, & a supposed better oil pump but Ive never checked into seeing this to be true. Now if you got deep pockets, you can easily exceed GSR limits. but mod for mods a slight avantage goes to the B18C bottoms.

Other heads (B16, ITR, B17) have interchangeable parts and have much more aftermarket support.
I'd go with a B16 head just to save the heartache.
