Re: ls vtec ?????s
not trying to be mean but search there are 100000000000000000 write ups on this and please please do not wire vtec to a toggle switch!!!
to do it the right way you need a vtec ecu like a p72 and pin out the wires directly from the ecu to your vtec solenoid... if i not mistaken a gsr crank has a smaller stroke and your compression will be way off...
just find a complete ls block

Re: ls vtec ?????s
you can use the gsr head on a ls block, if thats what you are asking. no use to put the gsr block internals in a ls block, still end up with a gsr, but you have to run a oil line and such.

Re: ls vtec ?????s
well the easy way is to get a golden eagle kit they make the dowel pins that go from 10mm to 14mm) for the head/block.. i think they have a sandwich plate for too, to run your oil line
