What hood do you have now? I am pretty sure you will be fine if the b16a clears alright now. The difference in deck height should be going down towards the ground not towards the hood, I am pretty sure.

ahh...I thought it was taller. Thats cool then. I still need to pick up an SiR hood cuz my B16 hits a little bit. Thanks for the PM too man

Actually I think the added height is up. I might be able to find a pic.

Edit: Here's the pic. The block on the right is stamped b16b, but as we all know, it is the same as b18c.

How the deck of the B16B is about 1/2" higher than the B16A ... but that still doesn't say anything about overall height.

Well, I just picked up a crank for free. So now I've got a free block and a free crank. I guess I'd be stupid not to do an LS/VTEC turbo. Anybody here had Seth balance and micropolish your crankshaft? How'd it turn out and what kind of RPM are you LS/VTEC boys turnin'?
