Default Ls/vtec not warming up

So I'll let my car run in the mornings and the motor will warm up but the gauge hardly moves. I get hott ass heat but the gauge goes right above "c".

Motor is a high comp ls/vtec. If u need to know more, just ask. Thanks!!

It's either the sender (or the wiring to the sender), or the gauge, and the sender is usually what goes bad. Unless you have a swap, like you do, and then I always suspect the wiring first.
