Default LS/VTEC help "lope" problem

I just did a swap for a buddy and this is all kinda new to me....

We got the motor together and running last night. The car runs good and pulls good.

My only question is a idle the car starts to "lope" or "cam". I know that this is usually caused by a vacuum leak but it looks like they are all up to par. The head is a gsr head with gsr cams. Do gsr cams produce this or is this something else.

Thanks alot

Is it idling rough, or is the idle surging up and down?

Its idle surging, thanks for the correct word. The IAC is fine, I just rechecked the timing and its still TDC. Its idle is at about 900rpms.

What kind of flywheel? Have you calibrated the throttle position sensor yet?

yeah we calibrated everything. I adjusted the idle a little and seems to not do it as much.
