Low rev limiter
 

Rev limiter is like 6500/6600, vtec hits at 5, I'm running a JDM P13.
I throw 0 codes, and have no mechanical issues.

I've seen other people have this issue, but usually have some codes to go with it.
My car runs perfect, just the super low rev limiter.

get ramey to install a crome chip and a street tune, he can set your rev limiter right where it needs to be

For some reason that rev limit you're talking about is the magic number for some problem, I can't remember what it is. 5k VTEC is what it should be I think. Is this a chipped P13?

No this ecu is not chipped, and can not be chipped. Until I find a obd1 P72 for the right price, I'd rather just fix the rev limiter problem.

my h22 ran better on a chipped p28, I removed the secondary butterflies from the intake

Yeah I still have the IABs and since I daily this as well, I would like to use my knock sensor(hence the P72).

I daily drove mine on 5lbs of boost, never had a problem. but anyways, you need a chipped ecu.

No, because my ecu does not have a 6500 rpm rev limiter. There is an issue causing it, thus why I made a thread.
