Default KA24DET issssuesss.. :(

Josh

whats up guys...i need some Nissan wiz to help me out..heres my problem----

it has slight struggle starting..kinda sounds like its not breathing right..clogged almost somewhere.along with a tick under load (not in boost) like a exhaust leak...still idles smooth 95% time...and does notttt smoke a lick..so my AFR's should still be good of course (wideband broke) =(

well the car was tuned by Matt Shue about a year ago,so its no tuning issue, the car has ran like a top all the way up until this point,(stock KA24de 142k miles)all of the sudden it sounded like it had a wicked exhaust leak.....sooo i put it on the lift and tightened all exhaust bolts including turbo mani=problem not fixed.

thennn, found the vaccum line to top of my wastegate from boost controller was loose...tightened..not fixed.

thennnn replaced the PCV valve thinking it was clogged..not fixed...

pulled all plugs, they all looked exactly how they should, not fried and not riched out or anything,so i asssume its still good on compression due to that and it dosent run like its on 3 cylinders at all.

ANOTHER very odd issue is that my car is tuned at 12psi....wastegate has a 9lb spring in it...therefore supposed to open when it crosses 9psi...well this morning i tried easing into it and it never opened up!...even tho the boost gauge was reading 14psi and probably would have kept climbing but i let out...makes me wonder if the wastegate is fucked up too.....
i just dont know what else to really check other than the MAF,which im doing tonite....

if there are any Nissan heads out there..read this and help me out please.
thanks bros.

found a big crack in back of downpipe flange against turbo.taking it to work and laying a nice penny stack in the crack.hopefully it will solve the exhaust leak sound..ha
