the k24 w/ tranny is only costing me 900

 

yea i figured around that much too....

 

you got a great deal on that motor if you can get it... but the H22 swap is going to be a lot more economical and reliable due to the commonality of the swap (more people have done it and know what to do). the K series in an accord (in my opinion) is nuts... but if your real about this tuning thing... then crazy is what we do.. IF we can afford it. an H22 in an accord isnt going to make you a cobra killer, but it will definitely surprise some people and give you a lot of sex appeal... cuz it hasnt been done... so the newness is almost worth is. im about to upgrade my 92 accord and if i had the money, id do it... but i dont... lol... go for what you know and get someone who is really good with a k-series to guide you. good luck

 

$900 for the whole motor with tranny? AM guessing you got the Accord K24 from K20A.Org.

 

i mean i can get it because i know it aint going anywhere...im gettin it from a good friend of mines....he got hit from the back and wanted to sell the swap with the tranny, i can see where ur coming from though...yea i kno a k-series in an accord is nuts but i just want to be different just like everyone else...people go for bigger things and thats kind of what i wanna do....i jus want to surprise people like "who the hell would think of doing that?" and pop open my hood, but yea thanx for ur opinion....

i think its coming out of a 05 or 06 accord

 

You know the K24 Accord motor is rated @ 166hp.

 

yea i know... i wanna go faster then my f22a6 and be different... i dont want to go that fast because i have two little daughters soo yea i dont wanna kill us...lol
