Well not knowing anything about k series motors, it seems to me that first gear is GONE!. 2nd through 6th and reverse work perfect. I was driving home the other night and everything was fine. Then when i was at a stop light i tried putting it into first gear, and it wouldnt go in for nothing. So then i just mess around and think nothing of it. Anyway to shorten the story it finally went in after about 30 minutes of trying last night. Well tonight i was coming home from work and it stopped going into first once again. Well when i get home i jack up the driver side of the car and check tranny fluids. Well i open up the filler plug and about 1/2 quart to 1 quart of oil comes out of the filler plug. I know u are suppose to only fill the car til some start to trickle from the filler. so i figure that was the issue, so i drop it back down and try and nothing at all. Well when the night progressed it went into first gear but as soon as i let my foot slowly off the clutch it poppes into nuteral. Tried repeaditly and same thing over and over it just pops straight out into nuteral. All other gears work perfect. Anyone have any sorta clue to what is going on? I think syncros are shot, but yea any other advise would be great....

I know nothing of K transmissions.


But on B Series. There is a filler hole and a drain hole.

You probably opened the drain hole.

Try doing a complete flush, and see what happens.

no i opened the filler hole. It was the higher up one. I know b series as well
