also as far as the rest of your tune up, k series use a timing chain so your pretty much good untill 100k, and the fuel filter is in the tank with the fuel pump and cant be changed without pulling the pump

no prob, as far as indexing goes i assume you mean changeing to a diff heat range plug? whatever plug you go with just stay within factory specs you will get the best results

acura stock plugs are denso's ik24s for rsx-s and ik22s are tsx and 1 range colder (probably backwards but ngks will work great I run bkr8eix on my built k with 100 shot, bkr7eix is stock). Plugs arent supposed to be gapped. And you shouldn't need a chain at 70,000.

thanks for the advice all. i purchased a set of the NGK's. the box was silver, said "LAZER" on it...

the oem's i pulled out were burnt to the ceramic...popped the new ones in and the butt dyno and fuel gauge both show an improvement.

and what i meant by indexing the plugs, was ensuring that the spark is directed toward the center of the combustion chamber...old school v8 people used to do it, but with the k20 plugs being directly over the pistons, didnt figure itd matter

Indexing won't give you any improvement, no. You have a vertical plug in a hemispherical chamber, and it really doesn't matter which direction the flame propagation starts traveling. Basically if you start walking from the center of a round room, does it really matter what direction you walk to reach a wall?

You don't have any shrouding problems with a Honda head, and even when indexing plugs on the old school V8s there were only minor improvements on what was a HORRIBLY flawed head design.
