Default Just installed my APR 2.5 downpipe and Miltek Exhaust!!!

Well this was a bit of an ordeal. I have never seen a slip fit exhaust. Flanges would be nice and it probably would have lined up better, but screw it its on!! The turbo to downpipe studs are week and brittle!!! You might want to pick up a few before you do this. We broke two, luckily I work at a nissan dealership and we found some studs that make the stocks look like crap. Got it on checked for leaks and went for a ride.

First gear is non existant, screw wheel hop the tires dont even have a chance to bite. Tire spin will kill me on the street now. The powerband is much more smooth now and it pulls all the way to 6000-7000 rpm

The sound is beautiful. At idle you can hear it, this thing does not sound stock but its not loud either. Now my car has that turbo sound from the exhaust. Going through the rpm band the car sound like a beast out the exhaust. I actually heard some popping out of the exhaust it was beautifull. My little baby snail can breath now. Car is a 03 GTI 1.8T with AEM CAI Forge 007 Revo 4 bar chip. Any questions just ask.

Are the same parts available for the 1.8T Passat? I need a new family car and I'm looking into getting one of those.

Tire spin? Launch at a lower RPM, or slip the clutch more.

Still running any cats?

Yeah has some kind of cat so it wont pop codes. I mean after I launch and get spooled. I can control the launch, I mean after 4-5 thousand rpms it breaks the tires loose in first.
