Just cuz I am curious....
I wanted to see what you all thought of this setup.
B16A2 head
B18C1 block
P73 pistons w/ stock rods (Arp rod bolts / king or acl bearings)
MSD SCI-L ingnition
DC sports JDM 4-1 header
Test pipe or high flow cat
DC dual canister exhaust
J's racing carbon fiber intake (the big fucker)
blox intake mani
Bigger throttle body
Omni motorsports valve springs/ retainers (should I get the valves?)
CTR camshafts
After market cam gears (suggestions?)
And thinking about getting and obd2-obd1 harness and going uberdata route.
how much do you think I should expect HP wise and how high would you rev it?
You guys think this is a decent setup?

Re: Just cuz I am curious....
Been there, done that. I wouldn't waste your money on any of the retarded stuff ( cam gears, special valve springs/retainers,ect.). None of that will really make a difference, it will just cost more. I would just go with some P73 valvesprings and leave the cam gears alone ( what's the point without boost?). None of that ignition is going to help either ( factory honda ignition can handle more that you will ever throw at it). As far as reving, I used to be able to take mine to 9,000 rpm no problem but there is no point the CTR cams stop making power @8,400 rpm. With that setup you will make around the same power as the ITR guys. It is a fun motor to have.

Re: Just cuz I am curious....
well the valve springs/ retainers is basically for me to rebuild my head..... The cam gears were because I plan to get the camshafts... Would you reccomend the CTR camshafts or another companies? Oh and thank you for responding....
