Alright, I just got my J's Racing intake in the mail. Tried to throw it on real quick and it's not fitting. It's blocked by the radiator reservoir, the harness plugs on the passenger side innerfender, and the breather valve. Now I could "make it fit" by shoving that fucker in there, but I'd rather not, because I would imagine it was designed to fit there properly. Anyone got suggestions on how they got theirs to fit in there?

 

that doesnt sound right AT ALL....i think they sent you a wrong one, it should fit and turn like a short air intake...thats strage. is it possible for you to take a pic of what your dealing with? i would PM Chezkers because he has one on his car...maybe he can help you out.

:grrrr: I was unaware there was more than one style for a b-series motor? Oh well, I'll call them tomorrow and double check that the numbers are right. Thanks for the help guys, and keep it coming if anyone has any more suggestions.

Took fucking forever, too, which is gonna piss me off even more if it's the wrong one.

Dammit, I just searched for that dude "Chezkers" and if he has the J's Racing intake, then mine looks different.



Mine doesn't have the kink in to the tubing just after the fenderwell...it's just straight. I think that's the problem.
