I am trying to help a co worker of mine solve a fuel pump relay problem. He can not get 12 volts to his fuel pump. When he turns the key the fuel pump relay clicks and then clicks back. The relay is new. The old one had same symptoms. The voltage to the relay is fine but the current going through the relay shuts off as soon as the relay clicks back. He is throwing the code "An open or shorted condition detected in the duty cycle purge solenoid circuit." Does anybody have any idea what this is?
