ISSUE DOING SWAP
Ok this is gonna sound wierd but i know I'm not crazy. D15B7 engine threw a rod. So I bought another D series motor except it is a D15B2 now my torque converter is too big for the engine. Once tranny is connected and tighten down. Can spin the fly wheel at all.

Re: ISSUE DOING SWAP
Did the d15b2 originally have a manual transmission?

Re: ISSUE DOING SWAP
flywheel+torque converter is your problem.
unless you are just calling the flex plate a flywheel, either way there are still questions to be asked. manual or auto trans? converter from the trans or motor? |
Re: ISSUE DOING SWAP
converter is from same auto trans that was on car in the first place. i think the problem is that the d15b2 i bought is out of a 88-91 civic and I'm trying to put a torque converter from a d15b7 94-95 civic. I know that is the problem all I'm looking for now is a torque converter from a 88-91 civic
