I have ARP studs therefore 10 nuts. And the valve cover only has 7 nuts.

just finished pulling the head apart. Everything appears to be normal. I didn't notice anything bent, and when I check the intake and exhaust ports the valve stems looked okay. The valves themselves where happily seated in their bowls so I guess its just purchasing a belt and putting the bitch back together again.
