how much work and would you need to get anything if you were 2 put a d16z6 intake mani on a d16y7.

it's not very hard if you have any idea about how to work on a car. it's a simple remove and reinstall situation unless you have an automatic y8 intake manifold. you would see *slightly* more high rpm power. nothing incredible. maybe an extra 1-2hp above 6000rpm.

correction its d16y7. 96 dx motor. would it still be that easy

i was thinking of going turbo and it seems like it would be difficult to do since the throttle body is verticle.

oh i was thinking you had a z6 and was putting a y8 on. guess i read it too fast. there is a good step by step writeup on honda-tech for it. it's really not all that difficult to do.

Is your car mpfi, or daul point? I have a z6 intake manifold on a d15b7 and it works fine.
