Default installing tach
hey i need to know, it says my coil is under my distributor cap. do i have to take it off and connect it to the proper wire inside. its a d16z6 engine.

the coil is under the cap but to just get an rpm reading for the tachometer there should be 2 wires coming out of the top of the cap connected to a plug, on integras its a blue wire, try tapping your signal wire to that to get an rpm reading, worked for when i put my buddys tach in, should work for you........

ok were exactly is it. right around the cap.
