Default Installing a short shifter...

Just ordered a B&M short shifter for my hatch, and i have no idea how to install it when it gets here. Do i just take out the console or do i have to get underneath to hook up the shaft?

you just remove the center console/boot and give yourself access from the top then off to the underside to remove a few bolts..pop in the new SS and reverse the install. Pretty easy. Good luck
