Default Installing a clutch (Ek civic)

Ok so i clutch is starting to go bad on my 96 civic (stock d16 y7)so i was wondering how hard it was to install a clutch by yourself. I dont really wanna pay a mechaninc to do this. My dad will be doing the majority of this and i will be helping him. He has changed clutches on some of his old trucks but we were wondering if this was too hard to accomplish ourselves. Also i was thinking about upgrading to a better clutch. I looked at the Stage 1 and stage 2 competition clutches and i am leaning toward the stage 2 because my dad doesnt like the look of the 6 puck clutch. anyway if you have done this before could you give me some tips. Also how long does it usually take , do you think this could be accomplished in a day with just the 2 of us? If you have any reccomendations for what type of clutch to buy that would also help, my car is stock at the moment but i do drive it i guess you could say aggressively maybe. I drove my friends civic the other day and he has a stage 2 clutch and it had a nice feel to it.
EDIT: New Question: is there a bushing kit or anything that is made to reduce the looseness of my shifter? I noticed in my other car and in my friends it alot stiffer when shifting, but my shifter seems loose i guess. its extremely easy to put it in gear as opposed to requiring some force to move the shifter into gear.

summary:
is it hard to change a clutch on an ek with about 2 people?
what kind of replacement clutch should i get?
is there any way to make my shifter more stiff?

Do you get stuck in traffic a lot? You're not going to want something that stiff when an oem replacement will suffice.

im in trafic sometimes, ill ask my friend exactly what he has, his seemed really nice and i liked it better than mine. what about the stage 1 then? the only reasoin i said stage 2 is because we were looking at pics of them and the stage 1 was 6 puc and my dad disliked that design i guess and said the pic of the stage 2 was more conventional i guess. before i do anything ill ask my friend if i can take his car for 1 more drive.

i can do a clutch in a ek in like 5 or 6 hours when im slackin on it. so two people can get it done in a day its fairly easy and i had a stage 3 competition clutch in my old hatch and daily drove it.

4-5 hours at the most... fairly easy, just time consuming. CC Stage 2 is not that stiff. It actually feels stock to me. I just installed this on a GSR last weekend. You can get a shifter bushing from energy suspension fairly cheap.... even ebay.

i changed a clutch and a flywheel on an accord in about 45 minutes, no joke, but then again i had a lift, transmission jack, the right tools, and i know what I'm doing and don't have time to bullshit. But if you have to do it in a drive way or some other shitty spot, good luck.

Excedy and CC are both excellent, i had a stage 4 CC in my turbo'd coupe, and now i have a Excedy stage 2 in my all motor hatch, and for your shifter, suck it up, or buy a bushing kit, but the shit is going to go right back to being loose if you slam gears constantly or drive like a rally car driver

ok well that helps i guess. what would you guys reccomend clutch wise a stage 1 or stage 2 competition clutch. i would go stage 1 w/ o hesitation but my dad says he likes the stage 2 better because its not the 6 puck 1, its a solid disk.
