Ok here is the deal! I have an '88 crx dx automatic,that i have swapped for a 5speed B18a.I have done everything the 5 speed swap mess the motor is in and hooked up.It turns over,but will not start.If someone can get it running ill give you $150 no matter what even if it takes you 20 minutes.I dont care,however if you cant get it started NO CASH!.If you can help me out let me know.

 

Most likely you're going to have to replace parts to get it to work.

$150 for a simple diagnosis is a bit much.

It should be simple to fix just by process of elimination. Check for spark, fuel, etc.

I'm going to say a new distributor. Sung's hatch was an ls swap, and it would crank, but wouldn't fire with spark. A new dibby was the problem. Make sure all the plug wires are in the proper order, and replace the rotor.

Just find a buddy with an ls that runs, and start swapping parts til you find out what you need.

and you did not offer the extra INFO. 150 bucks is good money to fix a car...the more info the more likly he will tell me where he lives.

 

if your a mechainc then you know $150 is really not that great of money to fix a car , the average around town is $60-70 per hour labor in shops.
