could it result in the ride height of the car raising?

yes, but wouldnt they seat themselves if you hit a bump or something?

That's what I would think. I dunno....my front springs are binding and popping and flexing and making all kinds of noises and the front of the car is extra high, while the back is even lower than normal. It was like this last week and it went back to normal, then, today, it's doing it again.
