hey, i am thinking about purchasing an iceman intake for me car. Wanna know if they are decent or suck. . . don't feel like spending the money for trial or error. this is for a 2002 civic. help me out please.

Damn, they still make iceman intakes? No, they are cheap and ugly. You're not gonna get much gain from most intakes, so I always advise to get the best looking one.
Weapon-R Dragon = best looking, IMO
Comptech = looks cool too
AEM = most popular, but the CAI puts the filter underneath your car

the short ram version came on my car and i dont have any complaints. i might be wrong but iceman advertizes their plastic intakes as a different type of plastic that repels heat well or somthing. ive the tube after running the motor hard and its never very hot at all...

they're like that so they can suck up more colder air, which is better. not that its a big deal cause its just an intake, they all do basically the same thing, and theres not gonna be a huge HP gain.

hehehe, I know the reason why it's down there; it just sucks that you have to go underneath the car to swap/change the filter. Plus it gets very dirty under there. Not worth the hassle for the little-to-no gain it will provide.
