An automatic Odyssey V6 in a Civic will smoke 99.998% of the 5-speed 4cyl Civics in the world.

Power (SAE net): 255 bhp @ 5750 rpm
Torque (SAE net): 250 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm
Curb weight: 4400-4600 lb
Standing 1/4-mile: 15.8 sec @ 89 mph
Do the math you fucking idiot. If a 4500lb van runs a 15.8, what would a car weighing roughly half of that run?
You're the reason I hate every Honda owner until they prove their worth otherwise.

If he put a 100 wet shot on his car, it wouldn't be as fast, it would blow up before his next oil change, and I'd still think he was retarded.
Putting an Odyssey motor in a Civic is both original and fucking bad-ass.
You're losing an argument about the cars you're into, and I know nothing about and blatantly disrespect. Give up.
edit: and as far as practicality, people are putting Yamaha V6's in Ford Probes, Mazda V6's in Ford Escorts, and LS1's in Miata's. Don't give me "practicality" as some form of rebuttle. Nigga, please.

Oh yeah you just said why, because you know nothing about these cars. THey are many other swaps that would be more practical & faster in stock form then a mini van engine. (H22,K20A2,K20/K24 frank). You dont know wtf your talking about so leave it alone.
I'm not going to do it because I hate Honda as a company, I would hate to be associated with ******s like you, and I hate FWD.
If I did, however, have a Civic and wanted to make it quick, I'd do this. Not only would it be possible the most street-able of any 12-second Civic ever made, it would also be the quietest, and be the most bad-ass simply because you could roll up to a car show and pop the hood of your CIVIC to show a 250HP/TQ V6 under the hood. No 4cyl Civic will ever command such awe. Ever.
That being said, you're still losing an argument about your own branding of choice. Good job.

edit: who the fuck is frank?
