I need help!!
Okay this winter we decide to take my motor (B16A1) out and add these things to it--Skunk2 manifold, Type R cams, new retainers & springs, adjustable cam gears, 4-2-1 header, lightened flywheel, Stage 2 clutch. Then we added 2 inch pipe from header back, MSD box, dist., coil, plugs and wires. Okay toke it to the track and it ran slower then bone stock I mean WTF? We are thinking about putting the ZEX on it but I'm extremely scared it will blow because of the compression? Does any one have any ideas of what we could be doing wrong? Oh yeah we adjusted the fuel pressure also. Please help me I have this schedule to keep for racing and don't really have time to send it to a shop and have it dynoed and "tweaked".
if you added all that stuff with only and adjustment in fuel pressure, thats not enough, adding those bigger cams alone will need a tune, the manifold, and the header and the new exhaust is a major factor, THE CAR NEEDS TO BE TUNED...with all those mods your flowing so much more air than stock, and just turning a little bit of pressure up isnt going to cut it, your prolly running lean all over the rpm band, and did you ever take into consideration track conditions, if you ran your car before and this time the weather and track temps and air temps were completely different that could also be a factor, get the car tuned, then go back to the track.......

in line pro has some crazy fast cars i just have never had any experience with them, i dont live anywhere near them, i take my car to abacus racing and let shad do the tuning......
VA beach thats a long trip for me!! Okay we are going to put the AIR/FUEL gauge in tonight (been putting it off) and go from there I will let you guys know. I guess I should still have it tuned so I'll make appointment for that. Thanks alot
