i need help
i got a d16a6 and every once in a while when my car is warmed up my revs go down but then go back up to about 1000 rpm's. also when it goes up around 1 it goes up and down. its hard to explain but what do you people think it is. please help its pissing me off. thanks

check your vacuum lines, sounds like your computer is trying to compensate. also take a look at your distributor, you might have a worn or a couple of worn pins. if its worn, it will idle funny.

normally they don't have blockage in them because it is just air flowing through them. if anything pull of the IAC motor and clean that out good with brake clean, adjust idle screw, and check the the vacuume lines for leaks. that is a starting point for every idle control problem
