ok, last time i filled up, i was getting 200-210 to the tank....now i only get 160 if im lucky. what in the mother loving hell is going on?

umm...I don't even get 10 mpg....

 

everything that has to do with spark, replace if it has been a while... I dont know how the ignition works on whatever car you have but for me it would be - wires, plugs, cap, rotor, coil if I am feeling rich -

then if that doesnt work look for air flow.. maybe the filter is dirty, bad o2 sensor, clogged cat....

 

all the ignition stuff is almost brand spanking new. (i have a 1992 civic, btw...guess i forgot to mention) filter has been cleaned. dunno about the o2 or the cat...but im selling the car...so i just wanted an idea as to what it could be.

 

i just replaced my fuel filter and spark plugs and now i put about 5 bucks in my car everyday! and on top of that get about 40 miles from that 5 bucks! gas sux!

 

34+ mpg w/ boost

It went up like 6mpg after my new exhaust, weird.

 

i went about 400+ miles today on one tank.....that's about 35.6mpg

 

i get that on long trips... i usually fill up at 1/4 tank left and ill have around 230 soo thats like a lil over 300mil a tank

If the ignition stuff is new look at the o2 sensor. How long has it been sense it has been replaced? You could hook up a voltometer to check it. The voltage should jump around alot, like .28, .88, .34, .53, .91, etc.....

 

ill see how things pan out tomorrow with the sale...if i sell it, then i wont need to worry about it...if not, then ill come back for more advice. thanks guys.
