the auto LS tranny's are very weak. it will not take the power at all. if you wanted a good platform to mod, you were stupid for getting an auto just because it was the first thing you saw. keep it stock, and dont spend the money changing to a 5 speed. costs FAR more than it's worth.

Automatic LS Turbos don't make that much power in comparison to 5 Speed.

Get a 5 Speed swap first or else you'll regret it later down the road.

 

Fuck it....build that bitch, 85mm pistons, sleeves, rods, headwork....get 400 whp out of it and leave it auto...it'd be fun to watch.

Nah man...I'm saying build the motor...85mm 9.8:1 pistons, Big ol' T4 turbo...ya know, it won't build boost right off the line so it'll be safe for your slush box tranny.....

Stock honda auto trannys don't hold to any kind of real power at all Honda manual trannys don't hold to gross amounts of power either what makes you think that an auto would. Do a 5 speed conversion you can find most of the parts online for really cheap or at you local junkyard. It is worth it in the long run IMO.
