bent rods

 

um.. car stops running.. knocks.. take the plugs out and it shots water everywhere when you crank it

 

my car was hydro locked i got all the waater out but i had a bent rod and broke and cracked the block if you engine is locked up drain the oil and put new oil in it and take out the plug and let the water dry out do this first hope this helps

well the starter breaks but i dont really know if it is hydro locked

 

The starter turns the flywheel which turns the crank. Doubtful its necssary, but, if the crank doesn't turn doing it by hand, it's seized.

 

and that means....take it apart

 

look for water in your oil...it will look milky

 

yeah thats what im going to do

 

take your plugs out and put oil down into it and then turn it over by hand. i put like wd40 and tranny fluid in my old car that was locked. it was sitting for about two years with out the hood on it and took the belt off it. took the plugs out and hand cranked it and it started to turn then i hooked up the battery and spun the shit out of it and then changed the oil and it started right up on the first try. smoked like crazy but it worked.
