put the wg reference line n do a pull in 3rd or 4th. that will allow you to know what the car can handle n where to set it.

10-15 to get you start. n-e-thing more then that might cause you problems

no matter what boost you run...its just a matter of time on stock.

What the hell car is it? Only N/T DSMs are 9:1 stock.

The ammount of boost you can safely run is a facter of many things:

Fuel volume available
Fuel pump strength (can it push the pressure required for the boost)
Tuning capability to safely tune for the boost
Strength of the pistons/rods
and much much more

If you think boost doesn't mean anything then I hope you're not tuning anything. Boost creates cylinder pressure which is a direct load on the motor. CFM/airflow is NOT load. CFM makes power not load.
