How difficult
just pull the head. its a one day job if you dont BS about it. and you can go to a thinner head gasket and do a light port job while youre down there. just pick up some more antifreeze and change your oil afterwards, have fun
ya, my brother in law and myself are gonna do the task when he visits for xmas... he was all like "aint no thing. 3 hours we'll have the head off and new piston back in." im like.. shit ok... if you say so =]

good luck on that one chief........
head disassembled and pistons put back in? Shit, it took Abacus like about 2 weeks to do all of that! Ok, ok, so there was a little boring and honing to go with that...but 3 hours, thats a little modest...

whatever you say chief.......and 2nd off i hope you have a shop to knock the piston off crate cause youll have a hard time doing it yourself unless you have the machine to take it off and press the new piston on and wrist pins into place, unless h series motors are different for some reason, you dont have free floating wrist pins so youll end up really fucking up your piston if you dont have a shop do it, 3 hours will be a struggle........unless you have a spare rod with a new piston on it, and you need to at least take a dingleberry honer to the cylinders once you pull the pistons out and thats if the cylinder wall isnt all fucked up, hopefully your lucky....your gonna have a hard time keeping it within 3 hours........but like i said, good luck.......it sucks to have car problems.....
