Honda keeper broken h22a4T?
What would cause this? Honda keepers are very hard. The builder said that means i need to upgrade springs an retainer ect. I see people maken 400whp on a stock no prob. Whats the deal.
Also does anyone have a set of stock keepers? I realy just need anought for one valve
oh yeah..im very lucky the valve didnt drop. phew

holy shit...you broke one? that's pretty rare...usually something else lets go first. just go to honda and buy a new set to play it safe, and replace them all. i'm sure they are cheap as hell. the hardest part is taking the head off to put them in.
i bought 4 from honda $20 shipped im good. dont need all new ones. like u said..its rare. didnt even drop a valve either. phew. lucky im getting the motor rebuilt when i did
damn, $20 bucks for something that probably cost them 25 cents! i fucking hate honda sometimes....thats like how they charge like $5 for the crank pulley keyway. anyways, when you replace them i'd check the retainer really well to make sure it doesn't look messed up in any way and give everything a good looking over. it just might've been a bad keeper but you never know.
