The really easy way to go is a P28, which is the Z6 SOHC VTEC ECU. P28s are readily available for about $100.. The P08 is pretty much the same except for having a 1-wire O2 sensor.

P07 will not work, the maps won't be right for the Z6..

On second thought, when I looked at the P28 and P07 programs, they seem to share the same base parameters, so a P28 program may run just fine in a P07. The only problem is that the P07 has a wideband O2 sensor, and I don't know how that will work with the P28 program. If you want to play guinea pig I'll see what I can do to help you out..

Just found some cool info..
There are 3 different P07 circuit boards that were used.
I need to know what circuit board is inside yours, take the cover off and there is a white lettered section that will say 02D011F0-1500 or 02D01720-1500, or something like that. I can chip one or two of the different P07 boards, but one of them is not chippable. This may work out in your favor, that wideband O2 sensor is supposedly pretty badass..
