Default Honda Civic got water in the engine..

Now the car won't start. This happened to a friend of mine. Said he went into a large puddle, and the intake submerged. Anyone know what would cause the engine not to turn on? I'm guessing he's going to have to disassemble something and get the water out. Any ideas on where to start?

Hit me up on AIM and I'll take a look at it if its here at Radford. Hopefully he didnt hydrolock the motor. If you have tools that I could use that would be nice too.

Been here before...good luck. If he's lucky, we distributor or plugs...more likely bent the rods and fucked the engine to hell. Good luck.

WHen I sucked up water thro my CAI it clicked and did NOT turn over but it was not hydrolocked...strange....we just had to flush it out and it was fine, but it only had water in it for a day
