Default Home made turbo

Wats up everybody? I just finished my auto to 5speed tranny swap in my 98 honda accord sedan and it is running great. I am now looking to boost. i dont have the funds being a full time student athlete. So i was looking to piece one together. Can anyone help me with that. What i will need and if you know where i could find the parts at. All responses are appreciated!

Is this a h22? If so you will need a turbo on the larger side...

Pat may be going bigger, so you can get his turbo and manifold. I'm not to fimilar with F series motors.

Swapping to an H22A head may be cheaper if you're just trying to get a bit more power. There is a complete writeup on h-t on how to do the single cam to dual cam head swap on an F series motor.

not worth it on a budget. the h22 head swap is not worth it on a budget. get your head ported and polished, get a equal length manifold, then get the turbo and managment & piping & etc. F series take very well to boost and as long as you keep it under 10psi you should be fine with stock internals and moderate fuel managment. a guy i work with has a log style mani but it's for an f22b1 not sure if they'll work on a f23a. i'll look into it.
