HLSD questions.......
Reading the New SCC i came across an illustration that explained a lot.....Yet it also made my theory (what i thought it did) completely wrong on the HLSD shudder you get when shifting hard into second in my car......I see 4 planet gears....(as called in SCC) and 2 sun gears......the two planet gears on top and the 2 on the bottom are driven by each other? which in turn drives the sun gears from the splines on the drive shaft...Kinda wierd for FWD not so hard to see in RWD(A backwards representation....) But what i cant figure is what shudders, (Not the wheel hop) from left wheel to right and back....Etc.....This is not an issue for me, I was just wondering how a evenly meshed sytem can shudder unless its in the ECU.....
