HID Issues?
I put new headlight housings (projectors) and a HID conversion kit in my AE86 and the the lights are so dim I can't see shit in front of me going down the road.
The only reason I ever changed out my old headlights is because they were dim and I didnt think HIDs can get dimmer!
Anyone know any common problems with the HID kits? It's probably too late to return them now. They're 10k bulbs and my the fitment for my car allows both high and low beams to work, but low beams do not turn on.
I keep thinking I got the wrong parts in the correctly labeled box...

Re: HID Issues?
Yeah I bought it off Ebay from someone with like a 99.7% rating but sold like 2200+ items...
I can look at my HID bulbs when turned on and not squint. That's how dim they are.

Thurman, thats exactly where I got em from, I believe...
I dont care about looking good, I wanted functionality and I got the projector housing for like $35 shipped and the HID kit + 10k bulbs for $55 shipped.

Re: HID Issues?
Have you checked for power and ground problems, and how are you hooking them up? You're not using the stock headlight power wiring and relays, are you?
