Unhappy help w/ alternator!

Ok, here's the deal. My camaro decided that it wasn't gonna charge the battery anymore. The battery decided to die. So I got it checked (after I bought a new battery and put it in so I could get it home) and they said the alternator was dead. I bought a new alternator, put it in, and it still didn't do the trick, my battery still isn't charging. If anyone has any ideas on what else it might be, please let me know ASAP.

I wish that were the case....I won't be out Sat anyways, I'm gonna be at snowshoe skiing. We'll get our run in, just don't blow your 100K engine to pieces yet.

may want to check for a charge fuse or your voltage regulator.

Assuming that it IS the alternator. Where did you get it? I know people with GMs that bought rebuilt alternators and it has taken some of them 3 or 4 tries to get a good one.
