ive been having this problem for months and still havnt figured it out. The problem is, when I accelerate my whole car shakes. Its coming from somewhere up front. It seems to kind of go away when im making a slight left turn while accelerating.
-Ive checked all my bushings/tie rods(replaced one tie rod) and everything was rock solid.
-Ive replaced both driver and passenger side axles.
-Replaced my shocks.
-Motor mounts checked out good.
...im also wondering if it could be my tranny? Its a 01 ITR tranny. Im not sure if this is normal but, when I lift the front wheels off the ground and let the car run in 1st gear both wheels will spin but I am able to stop one wheel by hand. Is that normal with the LSD? Also, im not sure if this will tell you anything, but with the car off and the tranny in 1st, if I spin one wheel the other wheel will spin in the opposite direction.

if its just under accleration, more then likey even though you have replaced the axles, one or both of the inner cv joints (inner boot) is bad, its common to get axles in the box with bad inner joint. matter of fact i replaced one axle on my CL before i got rid of it and the inner joint was bad (shakes and vibrates under accleration only)

 

You may also want to check the bearing on the shaft that runs on the backside of the motor. The driver side axle goes onto it. (fuck I can't remember the name to save my life)

My coupe had one go bad and it would do that.

 

Have you checked your wheel bearings yet?

 

check your ball joints, my civic now does something like that, because my ball joints are dryed out (but then you said you changed the axle)

have you checked the wheel bearings?

have you hit any big bumps or pot holes?? maybe you bent a knucle/hub/control arm?

when turbo joe had the turbo hype, the jdm tranny couldnt hold boost and blew out his diff, but it didnt do anything like that. plus if only one side is spinning, it would just make it like a normal tranny. the diff will just spin one side if the other side is blown, my jdm b16 tranny on my old ek was like that

 

my whole car shook its because i put fix a flat in my tire I doubt thats the case but still.

 

I had my wheels balanced, twice...and got an alignment twice also...just to make sure it wasn't that.

 

Hmmm it might be your steering column or rack and pinion

 

i'm gonna have to say bearing... or check the axles again...

 

my plan is to get integra front brakes and replace the bushings, maybe the wheel bearing too. And replace my axles, again, since I do have warranty on them.
