Default Help with my Vtec head swap

I have a 96 sohc dx (d16y7). I bought the vtec head and manifold (d16y8) and p28 ecu to do a head swap. I was wondering if someone could give me a little help on how to install it right. Someone was telling me I have to drill new oil lines in my block or sumthin to perform this swap. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

that P28 ECU will not work with your vehicle. you need a P2P which is an OBD2 ecu. your car is obd2 and therefore wired for obd2. the actual head swap is a direct swap.

Ok so I need a p2p ecu. Now wut is all this I've been hearing about a "oil control jet"? I read that I have to remove this from my engine, beacuse the vtec head supposedly already has one in it?? Any info??

its this little thing that sits in the block. you can use a screw to pull it out once the head is off. very simple.
