help me out
ok im bout to swap a mini me(a6 block,z6 head) swap in my 88 civic hatch im gonna use the dizzy from the a6 to keep it obd0 my question is what ecu can i use without having to chip it????
You can use a PM6 with a VAFC, but that's not the greatest solution. Get a VTEC converted PM6 instead. I think there are some people doing that on the interwebz, I used to do that but I don't play with Honda stuff anymore.
No, get a PM6 that has the hardware added to enable VTEC. Get in touch with Xenocron.com, and see if they offer anything like that. It may not be a PM6, it might be a PS9 or something like that, but if it has a VTEC output and you can load the right basemap into it, you're set.

Xenocron.com. They might have them, get in touch and see what they say.
You could use a P28, and you could use a PR3/PW0, but those would need to be chipped with the right maps for that engine. I still can't remember if the PR3/PW0 have a knock sensor board; if they do they will throw a knock sensor CEL.
