cheap and done right dont often go hand in hand.

butuh yeah the head bolts right on,all vtec heads are the same basic casting. the differenc lay in the machine work.

why are u putting a gsr head on urb16, its going to lower compression.

gsr head has smaller combustion chamber, which will in return yield a higher compression ratio.

uhh other way around man... b16 has the smaller chambers. the b16 is flat outboard of the valves, as where the b18c is a round chamber...

that should basically show you what im talking about.

heres a gsr

well ill be damned, after lookin at my notes the gsr acutally cc's out 1cc smaller than the b16.. chalk it up to optical illusion, 1cc works out to be about a quarter of a point difference in static comp ratio.... but i can admit when im an idiot :-D

lol fuckin supra guys are all about some grammar and puncuation.

yeah i was just curious what his plans were... guess im nosey.

i like the gsr heads because the cam caps are "girdled" which makes the valvetran a little more stable at high rpm.. and there usually newer so the springs are less likely to be sacked out.

i know the springs in my '90 are done, you can actually push the valves open with the feeler guages when your set valve lash if ur not careful.

I agree that it's no coincidence that people who are successful enough to own a higher end car have enough sense to know how you use the enlgish language. Good point though, I never put the correlation together, since everyone else I know on here with half a brain also gets disturbed by the horrible grammer.
