help with 4g63
can anybody give me a bolt diagram or something to figure out where my engine bolts go like for my front cover and everything up there? somebody mixed all mine up and now i have to sort them out and would like an easier way to do it, thanks
i dont think youre going to find a bolt diagram. the timing cover bolts are 10mm heads that are about inch long i guess. theres 4 10mm bolts that are about half an inch long that goes to the water pump pulley. theres 4 12mm bolts with the number "8" on the head that goes to the crank pulley. theres 3 12mm bolts that go to the a/c tensioner bracket. theres some long 14mm bolts that go to the motor mount and a 17mm nut that goes to the side of the motor mount. thers 2 14mm nuts that go to the other side of the motor mount. i hope that helped you out some. good luck

for the timing cover bolts start with the short ones and work your way to the longer.
the upper cover has 2 bolts with a molded washer (best way i could think to describe) no loose washers
in general the short ones go around the outside
the one on the bottom back has a bigger washer than the rest (6 to 7 bolt this one is different)
i believe the longest one goes top back with the top cover on
thats all i can think of
