Help!!!
today i had my hood up on my car (B16) and the car was running. i reved the gas with my hand and when i did i noticed that i have some smoke coming from my valve cover air breather only when i rev it. what could be the problem?????????????????????

you've probably blew 2 or 3 pistons and cracked a rod and need a complete engine overhaul.
seriously? the car runs fine, i just noticed the other day that when i reved it a little bit smoke come outta the pcv valve hole on my valve cover....

filter breathers are for ricers unless you're boosted. on an NA application, they are detrimental to the longevity of your motor. the vacuum provided from the breather tube is important for the seals in your motor and filter breathers have been shown to be a proven powerloss.
also, you said in one post it was coming from the filter breather and another the pcv valve? do a compression test to see if maybe you have some blowby on one of you cylinders. probably though you just wore out a valve seal...
